F2 // Solid Start, Frustrating Finish in Melbourne!

Qualifying
• After setting the fastest time in free practice, Victor secured the first pole position of the season—his fifth with the team in Formula 2. Ritomo began his collaboration with the team by qualifying 12th.

Sprint Race
• Victor emerged in sixth place at Turn 1, where he was forced onto the grass by another driver. With dirty tires and caught in the turbulent air of the car ahead, he lost control and retired after making contact with the wall.
• Ritomo crossed the finish line in the same position he started—12th.

Feature Race
• Due to adverse weather conditions, race control cancelled the event for safety reasons.

Sébastien Philippe:
“It was a frustrating yet encouraging weekend. Victor was consistently among the top three fastest drivers, but that speed wasn’t reflected in the final results. Ritomo made a solid debut with the team. We’re looking forward to Bahrain, where we hope to confirm the promising performance we saw in Melbourne—even if the outcome didn’t match our potential.”

Victor Martins:
“A very strong start to the weekend that ended in disappointment. But the potential is clearly there—we made excellent progress through simulator work and by learning how the car responds to setup changes to find its optimal performance window. That gives us confidence going forward, even if we couldn’t convert pole position into points this time.”
